I am a landscape photographer currently living in Springdale, AR. I started taking pictures during the four years I spent in the Navy to share my experiences with friends and family and was fascinated by the complexity and the challenges of capturing a moment in time. I choose to focus primarily on landscapes and lifestyle photography as it expresses my passion for adventure and the wilderness.
In this day and age, I believe that we have an increasing need for untouched nature and the sense of peace and self-discovery that comes from experiencing it. Since the majority of the world's growing population resides in large metropolises I feel that it is important for us to realize that the wild places of this world aren’t just something from our past, but a central and vital part of our everyday life.
I do my best to bring this rich vibrant world to a canvas. I do consider my work an art form. Landscape photography is not easy, but I love the adventure and challenge. Please feel free to read some of my trip journals to get an idea.
